Project Summary
LABRADOR MINERAL EXPLORATION PROJECT
Wolverine holds interests in 3 mineral Properties in Labrador, Canada including the Frog, Hook and Cache River Projects.
Location Map
Hook Property
Location: The Hook property is located approximately 84 kilometres west of Natuashish and 93 kilometres southwest of Nain, Labrador, situated 25 kilometres southwest of the Frog property and 60 kilometres south of the Voisey's Bay nickel, copper, and cobalt deposit operated by Voisey's Bay Nickel Company Ltd., a subsidiary of Vale S.A. Access to the Property is via helicopter or float plane and snowmobile in the winter months.
Ownership: The Property is 40% owned by Wolverine and 60% owned by Rich Resources of Natuashish.
The Property consists of 3 contiguous licences totaling 9,622 ha that were acquired in 2024.
History: There is no record of previous exploration on the Property to date.
Geology: The Hook property is underlain predominately by rocks of Meso Proterozoic-aged granitic intrusions of the Nain Plutonic Suite in the Archaean-aged Nain geological province. A north-south trending, linear, highly magnetic zone of gneisses crosses through the entire Property. The Property also encompasses 9 lake sediment samples averaging 0.11% total rare earth elements (TREE).
Exploration: No exploration has been completed to date.
Exploration Plans: Exploration plans include completing a property-wide airborne magnetic and radiometric survey to identify areas enriched in REEs. Prospecting and geochemistry in anomalous areas will precede drill testing.

Frog Property
Location: The Frog property is located approximately 70 kilometres west-northwest of Natuashish and 65 kilometres southwest of Nain, Labrador, situated 30 kilometres south of the Voisey's Bay nickel, copper, and cobalt deposit operated by Voisey's Bay Nickel Company Ltd., a subsidiary of Vale S.A. Access to the Property is via helicopter or float plane and snowmobile in the winter months.
Ownership: The Property is 40% owned by Wolverine.
The Frog property consists of 5 contiguous licences totalling 6,550 ha (262 claim units).
History: There is no record of previous exploration on the Property prior to 2021.
Geology: The Frog property is underlain predominately by rocks of Meso Proterozoic-aged granitic intrusions of the Nain Plutonic Suite in the Archaean-aged Nain geological province. The northern-most extent of the Property is underlain by lower Proterozoic-aged Churchill gneisses comprised mainly of granitic to tonalitic gneisses.
Exploration: In 2021, a limited program of prospecting and ground magnetics was completed on the Property. Elevated levels of coincident nickel, cobalt, chrome, and copper were noted from surface boulders suggesting a possible nearby source of a mineralized body typical of Labrador nickel - copper mineralization as seen at the nearby Voisey's Bay deposit. Several discrete anomalies were delineated by the ground magnetics. In February 2022, a follow-up program composed of 28.5 line-km of ground magnetics expanded the survey completed in 2021. A strongly magnetic body was outlined extending 1.4 km through the western portion of the grid and is open to the north and south. This magnetic feature is 180 to 360 m wide and shows a sharp contrast of up to 20,000 nT between the anomaly and country rock.
Prospecting in 2022 collected samples grading up to 780 ppm Cu and including rare earth elements (REE) three times normal background crustal values. At this time, rocks resembling rocks from Kiruna-type magnetite-apatite mineral deposits (often referred to as IOCG) were found. These types of deposits vary, often containing significant amounts of Cu, Au, +/- U, with moderate amounts of REEs such as Olympic Dam, Australia or composed mainly of magnetite and apatite with enrichment in REEs and lacking Cu or Au (Lyon Mt, NY).
Exploration Plans: At this time, the magnetic anomaly on the Frog property may or may not contain economic deposits of copper (+/- Ni), or REE's. The presence of weak copper and nickel grades in float samples is encouraging and suggests that the magnetic zone may host these metals in economic concentrations. Follow-up exploration, due to commence after spring thaw, will implement radiometrics to target concentrations of REE's. Prospecting and geochemistry in anomalous areas will precede drill testing.

Cache River Property
Location: The Cache River property is located approximately 120 km west of Goose Bay, Labrador. Access to the Property is via the Trans-Labrador Highway (Route 500) between Happy Valley-Goose Bay and Churchill Falls, LA. The Property consists of 3 contiguous licences totalling 7,875.5 ha.
Ownership: The Property is 90% owned by Wolverine.
Geology: The Property is located in the Grenville Province of east central Labrador. The region is dominated by Paleoproterozoic metasedimentary gneisses which have been intruded by granite - quartz monzonite and megacrystic granitoid rocks of the Trans Labrador Batholith. Massive quartz-feldspar-biotite gneiss occurs suggesting a granitic or possibly volcanic protolith. Locally, isolated pods and thin boudinaged bands of dark, hornblende-plagioclase-amphibolite (likely the product of mafic intrusions or volcanic rocks) can occur. Local structural breaks generally trend northeast, coincident with IP chargeability anomalies.
Mineralization: Mineral occurrences discovered to date on the Property consists of disseminated copper +/- gold mineralization exposed along a 20-30 kilometer section of the Trans Labrador Highway. Mineralization observed consists largely of disseminated and stringer chalcopyrite, pyrite and pyrrhotite hosted within medium to dark grey, strongly foliated metasedimentary gneisses. Some mineralization appears to be associated with strongly deformed mafic intrusive or extrusive rocks. Prospecting results include a high of 6.4% copper and 108 ppb gold from a grab sample.
Exploration history: In 2002, during the construction of the Trans-Labrador Highway, a series of significant copper-gold showings were uncovered along the highway. Analytical values of copper and gold from samples taken along the road outcrops ranged from 1.38% to 6.4% Cu and up to 0.5 g/t Au.
From 2002 to 2004 R. Mercer Exploration and Development (MEREX) completed prospecting and trenching on a number of the aforementioned copper-gold showings.
Wolverine staked the property in 2007 and completed exploration between 2007 and 2011. Exploration activities included an airborne electromagnetic/magnetic/radiometric survey, ground prospecting and rock sampling, trenching, induced polarization (IP) geophysical surveying, and diamond drilling.
2006 - Prospecting
2007 - Airborne Magnetics, EM, and Radiometrics
2008 to 2009 - Prospecting
2010 - Prospecting, trenching, IP, and diamond drilling
2011 - Drilling
Drilling: A total of 8 short holes (710.5 m) were drilled on the Property from 2010 to 2011 using an Ultralight Diamond Drill (BQ). The 2010 holes (5) targeted exposed surface mineralization along the road construction, whereas the 2011 drilling (3) targeted high priority IP anomalies. Only 3 of the 8 high priority IP targets were able to be tested in 2011 before weather curtailed the drilling program.
Exploration Plans: Wolverine intends to prospect areas defined as anomalous by the 2010 IP survey. The IP survey delineated a series of parallel chargeability anomalies extending over a strike length of over 1.5 km. Follow-up drilling will test some of the untested high priority anomalies derived by the geophysical surveys as well as several other targets as defined by surface mineralization, magnetics, and prospecting results.
